Traditionally on 25th April, the day of the landing in Gallipoli, the Australian and New Zealand communities remember the fallen of their countries during the Great War.

The special Last Post for ANZAC Day will again be organised on Sunday 25 April 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Menin Gate Memorial in Ieper, Belgium. The Australian and New Zealand Ambassadors will lay a wreath together with the Mayor of Ieper and the area director of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Two buglers from the Last Post Association will sound the Last Post and a piper will play the lament. Chairman Benoit Mottrie of the Last Post Association will hold a short address.



Public access to the Menin Gate will not be possible. All members of the Last Post Association and members of the public are invited to follow the live stream on the Facebookpage of the Last Post Association -
