Op 10 november 2014, om 11:00, herdachten de Vrienden In Flanders Fields (VIFF) en de West Yorkshire Police Band, Sapper Frank William Wiltshire, van de New Zealand Engineers, op het La Plus Douve Farm Cemetery te Wulvergem. Frank William Wiltshire werd geboren op 17 maart 1894. Hij vocht tijdens de Slag om Mesen en sneuvelde op 10 juni 1917, drie dagen na de ontploffing van de 19 tunnels onder de zogenaamde "Messines Ridge". Hij was 23 jaar oud. Sinds 2003, wordt er jaarlijks een herdenking gehouden door Mrs Patricia Young, een nicht van Frank Wiltshire. Sinds haar overlijden in 2012, neemt VIFF deze taak voor zichzelf om de traditie voort te zetten. De plechtigheid werd o.a. bijgewoond door Sandy Evrard, burgemeester van Mesen. Twee klaroenblazers, waaronder de 89 jarige Antoon Verschoot, van de Last Post Association brachten een klein eerbetoon, maar wel met een hele grote betekenis. De West Yorkshire Police Band was - tegenover vorig jaar - dit jaar wel aanwezig en brachten het nummer Nimrod als ook de nationale volksliederen van België, New Zeeland en het Britse volkslied.

On November 10, 2014, at 11:00, the Friends of the In Flanders Fields Museum and the West Yorkshire Police Band, commemorated Sapper Frank William Wiltshire, of the New Zealand Engineers, on La Plus Douve Farm Cemetery at Wulvergem. Frank William Wiltshire was born on March 17, 1894. He fought during the Battle of Messines and died on June 10, 1917, three days after the explosion of the 19 tunnels under the so-called "Messines Ridge". He was 23 years old. Since 2003, this became an annual commemoration held by Mrs. Patricia Young, a niece of Frank Wiltshire. Since her death in 2012, the VIFF takes this task for themselves to continue the tradition. The ceremony was attended among others by Sandy Evrard, town major of Messines. Two buglers, including the 89 years old Antoon Verschoot, from the Last Post Association brought a small tribute, but with a big meaning. The West Yorkshire Police Band was this year present and bought the song Nimrod as well as the national anthems of Belgium, New Zealand and the British national anthem.
