Remembrance for the British pilot Samuel Franklin Leslie Cody - Zillebeke - 23/01/2017
On Monday, 23 January 2017 a remembrance took place on Perth Cemetery – China Wall in de Maaldestedestraat in Zillebeke for the British pilot Samuel Franklin Leslie Cody.

This pilot of the Royal Flying Corps got involved in an aerial fight above Boezinge and this against 4 enemy planes. Cody's plane was hit and he died above Passendale. He was buried on in Zillebeke on Perth Cemetery – China Wall.

The initiative for the remembrance was talen by the Royal Cody Ghent Rifle Club.
