Commemoration Crest Farm - Passendale - 10/11/2024
The Canadian capture of the Passchendaele on 10 November 1917 marked the end of the Battle of Passchendaele.

On 10 November 2024, the ‘Passchendaele Ceremony’ commemorated the end of the battle and all the casualties, regardless of nationality. The ceremony started at 6.30pm with a reflection at the Crest Farm Canadian Memorial, followed by a torchlight procession along Canada Avenue. The procession followed the route of the bloody last few hundred metres of the attack and ended at Passchendaele church.
