Commemoration Noel Chavasse - Vlamertinge - 15/06/2025
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, the Liverpool Scottish Regimental Association held a commemoration at Brandhoek New Military Cemetery in honor of Noel Chavasse. He is the only person who received a second Victoria Cross (VC and bar) during the First World War. He is buried at Brandhoek New Military Cemetery in Block III Row B Grave 15.

























A few rows away lay his aide Rudd, who died six days later from wounds sustained by the same shell that took Chavasse's life.
